Kia ora, I’m Luke Glen. I grew up in New Zealand and moved to Sydney in 2022 at 22 years old. Fast forward to 2025, I’ve discovered a passion that goes beyond sport — helping people become the best version of themselves.

That passion is now Whānau Training (pronounced: far-no). In Māori, whānau means family. Back home, whānau is more than just family — it’s community, connection, and support. That’s exactly what Whānau Training represents: premium in-home training designed to bring families structure, confidence, and results they can be proud of together.

What We Do

  • In-home training for families — tailored sessions delivered where you feel most comfortable

  • Sessions for kids & parents — developing fitness, skill, and self-belief

  • Training with purpose — sessions built around your lifestyle

  • Results that last — strength, energy, and confidence for life

Why Whānau Training?

Whānau Training is about more than workouts — it’s about building resilience, discipline, and connection together as a family.

Training side by side creates something powerful: kids see what hard work looks like, parents set the example, and families grow stronger not just physically, but in how they support each other.

My why is simple: to give back with the knowledge and experience I’ve built, and to take families on a journey from where they are now to the best version of themselves — united, confident, and proud.

Whānau Training is about creating a community where families push, grow, and succeed together.

About Luke

I’m originally from New Zealand and moved to Sydney in 2022 at 22 years old to pursue rugby and new opportunities. Rugby shaped my discipline and resilience, but my purpose has grown into something bigger: helping families build healthier, stronger, and more connected lives.

I’m a certified personal trainer with several years of industry experience, and I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Coaching from the University of Canterbury, majoring in Strength & Conditioning with Nutrition and minoring in Sports Science.

I’ve competed in high-level rugby and bring that same discipline, performance mindset, and practical knowledge into every session I deliver. Whānau Training is my way of combining that experience with my roots — bringing the Kiwi meaning of whānau into the way I train and support families here in Sydney.

“Whānau Training is more than fitness. It’s about making families feel stronger, closer, and proud of what they achieve together.”
